ZURICH — FIFA has released additional tickets for the 2026 World Cup to the general public on a first-come, first-served basis, marking the final phase of official sales for the tournament.

The Last-Minute Sales Phase began at 11:00 a.m. ET (17:00 CET) on Wednesday, April 1, FIFA said in a statement. Tickets are available via the official portal at FIFA.com/tickets for the 48-team tournament co-hosted by Canada, Mexico and the United States from June 11 to July 19.

This is the fourth and final official ticket sales phase. It follows earlier periods, including a random selection draw, and will remain open until the end of the competition, according to FIFA. Fans can purchase tickets subject to real-time availability, select specific seats from a seat map or use a “Book the best seat” feature, and receive immediate confirmation upon payment.

FIFA has not disclosed the exact number of additional tickets being released. The governing body previously stated that more than one million tickets had been sold by the end of the prior sales phase between December and February.

The 2026 tournament features 104 matches across 16 venues in the three host countries, an expansion from the traditional 32-team format. Demand has been high, with FIFA reporting substantial interest from fans in more than 200 countries and territories during earlier phases.

“Additional tickets for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ will go on sale to the general public from 11:00 ET/17:00 CET on Wednesday, 1 April,” FIFA said in its announcement.

Ticket holders who purchased in previous phases can view their allocated seats via their FIFA account starting April 1, the organization added. The resale and exchange marketplace is scheduled to reopen on April 2.

FIFA has emphasized that purchases must be made through official channels to avoid unauthorized resellers. Details on pricing and specific match availability were not immediately specified beyond real-time inventory on the portal.
