NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — Former NBA player and television analyst Kenny Smith has married Croatian influencer Tia Jurcic in a ceremony in Southern California, the couple announced in a joint Instagram post on Tuesday.
The post featured a photograph of the newlyweds with the caption, "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," confirming the marriage after the pair became engaged in October 2025. The ceremony took place at The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, according to images and videos shared by the couple and media reports.
Photos from the event showed the couple exchanging vows in an outdoor ceremony decorated with white drapery, chandeliers and floral arrangements overlooking the Pacific coastline. Smith wore a white dinner jacket with black trousers and a black bow tie, while Jurcic wore a strapless wedding gown with floral detailing.
The wedding marks the third marriage for Smith, 61, a two-time NBA champion with the Houston Rockets who has become widely known as an analyst on the long-running basketball studio program "Inside the NBA." He and Jurcic announced their engagement in October 2025 through a social media post showing her engagement ring with the caption, "YES to you forever!"
Smith has previously spoken publicly about meeting Jurcic during a basketball-related event in Abu Dhabi, where he was introduced to her through her son, who attended the event. In a podcast interview earlier this year, Smith said the encounter led to their relationship after they remained in contact.
Smith was previously married to Dawn Reavis, with whom he has two children, and later to model Gwendolyn Osborne, with whom he also has two children. Jurcic, who is originally from Croatia, has a son from a previous relationship and has largely kept her personal life out of the public spotlight despite maintaining a social media presence.
Professionally, Smith remains one of the most recognizable figures in basketball broadcasting following a 10-year NBA playing career that included back-to-back championships with Houston in 1994 and 1995. He continues to serve as one of the principal analysts on "Inside the NBA," which has entered a new broadcasting arrangement with ESPN and ABC while remaining produced by TNT Sports.
Neither Smith nor Jurcic disclosed additional details about the ceremony beyond the announcement shared on their social media accounts.
